The Queen's Club is a private sporting club in West Kensington, London, England. Founded in 1886, the Queen's Club was the world's first multipurpose sports complex and named after Queen Victoria, its first patron. The club hosts the prestigious annual Queen's Club Championships grass court men's lawn tennis tournament (known as the AEGON Championships for sponsorship reasons). It has 28 outdoor courts and eight indoor. With two courts, it is also the national headquarters of real tennis, hosting the British Open every year. The Queen's Club also has rackets, and squash courts, of which it now has become the headquarters for these sports due to the Prince's Club closure in 1940.

Olympia
Olympia is an exhibition centre and conference centre in West Kensington, London, W14 8UX, England. It opened in the 19th century and was originally known as the National Agricultural Hall.
Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes often abbreviated MK, is a large town in Buckinghamshire, in the south east of England, about 45 miles (72 km) north-west of London. It is also the capital of the Borough of Milton Keynes. It was formally designated as a new town on 23 January 1967, with the design brief to become a 'city' in scale.
Its 89 km2 (34 sq mi) area incorporated the existing towns of Bletchley, Wolverton and Stony Stratford along with another fifteen villages and farmland in between. It took its name from the existing village of Milton Keynes, a few miles east of the planned centre.

London and Birmingham Railway (L&BR)
The London and Birmingham Railway (L&BR) was an early railway company in the United Kingdom from 1833 to 1846 when it became part of the London and North Western Railway (L&NWR).
The 112-mile (180 km) railway line which the company opened in 1838 between London and Birmingham was an early intercity line, and one of the first lines to be built from London. It is now the southern section of the West Coast Main Line.
Addison Rugby
Addison was a nineteenth century football club that played football by the rugby football codes. It is notable for being one of the twenty-one founding members of the Rugby Football Union.
Addison was established in 1869 with about fifty members. It fielded two teams of twenty aside for rugby matches. The derivation of the club's name is due to the clubs origins in the part of Kensington to the west of Holland Park where the streets are named after the politician Joseph Addison. The teams colours were blue and black.

Kensington Gardens
Kensington Gardens, once the private gardens of Kensington Palace, is one of the Royal Parks of London, lying immediately to the west of Hyde Park. Most of it is in the City of Westminster, but a small section to the west is in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The park covers an area of 111 hectares (275 acres). The open spaces of Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Green Park and St. James's Park together form an almost continuous "green lung" in the heart of London between Kensington and Westminster.
Attractions
Notable attractions and institutions in Kensington (or South Kensington) include: Kensington Palace in Kensington Gardens, the Royal Albert Hall opposite the Albert Memorial in Hyde Park, the Royal College of Music, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Heythrop College, Imperial College, London, the Royal College of Art and Kensington and Chelsea College. The Olympia exhibition hall is just over the western border in West Kensington.

Kensington's second activity centre is South Kensington, where a variety of small shops are clustered close to South Kensington tube station. This is also the southern end of Exhibition Road, the thoroughfare that links the area's museums and educational institutions together.
The edges of Kensington are not well-defined; in particular, the southern part of Kensington blurs into Chelsea, which has a similar architectural style. To the west, a transition is made across the West London railway line and Earl's Court Road further south into other districts, whilst to the north, the only obvious dividing line is Holland Park Avenue, to the north of which is the similar district of Notting Hill.
In the north east, the large Royal Park of Kensington Gardens (contiguous with its eastern neighbour, Hyde Park) is an obvious buffer between Kensington and areas to the north east. The other main green area in Kensington is Holland Park, just north of Kensington High Street, whilst Kensington has numerous small residential garden squares.
